SafeDisc + wine

Has anybody got games with SafeDisc 2.7 protection to work in wine? I got Rise Of Nations to install but I get the error "unload the debugger and try again" when I try to play it.

I have no idea whether you can do any good with Alcohol 120% & wine? I think that you can get a functioning demo or something, so you should be able to legally have a go at making a non safedisked copy protected game, if it's yours.

If Alcohol won't run under wine or whatever, you could use the software to make a copy protection free backup copy for yourself under windoze, & then install that on to Ubuntu.

Google for Alcohol 120%, it won't be hard to find.
