I'm trying to find some information on creating your own GDM themes but i'm having trouble finding anything. Is it all done via the .xml file? What's the .desktop file for? Thanks to anyone that can point me in the right direction.

just go to the terminal and type sudo apt-get install glade
after installation you'll find it under programming in the application menu
