Hello,

I was asked to setup a Intranet server and i decided to use Ubuntu as OS and to use it as a Intranet server.

I managed to install Ubuntu with the GUI. I am able to browse the network without any problems and access to the internet too.

This is configured with LAMP modules for our Intranet. Our intranet developers have moved the content of the intranet and it works fine.

Now we would like to mount a share windows directory on the ubuntu so that the apache see it this as a local disk.

The reason behind this is so that any users on the network can move/copy data (files) to the shared directoy so that is instantly avaiable on the intranet.

I would apreciate if anyone can help me with mounting this shared directory. I am a beginner, so instructions or step by step guide is apreciated.

Our web developer don't have time to help me with this, so i am left on my own.

Many thanks
Maharaja
