I have a computer that I need to boot from a DVD. I have a DVD player on this computer. The CMOS states that the first boot device is CDROM. There is no selection for DVD. This machine boots from a regular CDs but will not boot from this DVD. I can read the DVD that is in the drive but not boot from it.
Does the choice for my First Boot Device being CDROM mean that I can't boot from a DVD?
I don't --- think I have a bad copy of this DVD. But have no way of checking. All the files needed are present on the DVD.
Thanks in advance for your help.
