I uninstalled and re installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my Medion SIM 2000 laptop which previously had Ubuntu with no problems, but now Ubuntu doesn't, seems that my USB drives are disabled, Rythbox doesn't read the folder where I got my music collection and I can't have anything plugged in the USB before Ubuntu boot up because it's stop at "starting bluetooth". A little help for a nOOb plz?

is your music player pointed to your music folder in the settings?
I would suggest using banshee for a music player.

I used to have the usb problem in 8.10. I would suggest doing a few sudo aptitude update / full-upgrades and maybe going to karmic. Alpha 4 is almost out I believe.

i guess ubuntu works with most of the hardwares out of the box.... there might be some cases where you need to spend some time fixingi some minor issues..other than that it just worsk fine....the subject line is quite annoying
