Greetings,

I just started with linux and Ubuntu about a month ago and found that I absolutely
love all aspects of the OS, especially the way you can scratch below the surface and
see the real power below the eye candy.

I have managed to accomplish all the goals for myself except one... and this one is a bit
tricky to even explain.

I've toyed around with qemu (too slow) and virtualbox (nice), installing windows, various
other linux distros, ect with it. But I want something a bit more unique.

I have a wubi install of ubuntu (I may switch to full install once I find a place to backup
my 700+GB of windows files before partitioning) and a VM of winXP in ubuntu as well
as a VM of ubuntu in winXP. But what I'd like to do is this:

I'd like to be able to boot into my wubi installed Ubuntu with a VM inside windows when
I'm too busy/unable to reboot XP.

Are the virtual disks created by wubi in any format that a VM software
(qemu/virtualbox/virtualpc/ect) could use to boot with?

I've read posts about booting an existing XP partition with a VM software, what I want
to do is just the opposite, boot an existing wubi install of ubuntu in windows.

I hope I've clearly explained my question, it's a little hard to put into words as I'm
a bit of a newbie and the concepts are very complex.

Thank you in advance for your help!
