My printer will not work and I am desperately trying to get it going before Monday. My laptop tells me I need drivers as no HP device detected, this despite tell me yesterday it had installed them. so I am going through the process and the HP site is asking for the version of ubuntu I am using. It came loaded on a DELL Mini 9 and the update manager asked me to update yesterday which I did

From a terminal; Applications | Accessories | Terminal, type:

lsb_release -a

clicking on System->About Ubuntu might be able to tell you which version you're using.
