If I were to shut off my PM box who would still be able to PM me? I'd need to be able to receive them from staff for maintenance/warnings etc but I don't want PMs off every Tom, **** and Harry

I believe you would still receive PM's from forum staff.

If you want to turn it off and let me know, I'll check :)

I believe it can be set so that you receive PMs only from contacts and staff - which is what I did after receiving some spam by PM and a couple of questions that would have been better in a public area of the forums.
