Buenas gente, derivo el problema desde otro post.
Resulta que en esta maquina estoy usando Xubuntu, con una placa de video on board SiS y un monitor LG 710E de 17' (resolucion maxima 1024x768...)
El problema es que Xubuntu arranca si o si en 1280x1024 y esto hace que la pantalla no se vea completa y que este muy chico todo para la chicata de mi señora :P Puedo cambiar la resolución manualmente a través del menú de pantalla, pero al reiniciar los cambios no se mantienen.
