Hello, I can run PVZ with an out-of-the-box 9.04 installation and Wine 1.01 quite nicely, with only two small problems.
1. Registration - Can't connect to PopCap servers.
When I'm asked to enter my Order ID to unlock the game, PVZ can't connect and I am asked to retry or manually enter the Registration code (which in turn also doesn't work).
2. Screen Resolution - Bottommost part not visible.
The game actually runs well, you just can't see the "Click here to start" part of the screen, as it's below the visible area of the monitor. You can still click it, though.
I'm stumped on the first problem. For the second problem, I've tried setting the resolution in the Wine Configuration dialog to 800 x 600. Still the same result.
Help, please?
