When I try to install emacs using the Synaptic Package Manager, I get the message 'emacs21-nox: Depends: emacs21-bin-common is not installable'. Is this a problem with the repository?

I was able to install this when I inserted the CD for Breezy but remain a little surprised the emacs packages aren't on the universe repository (if that is indeed the case).
