I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 in VirtualBox as a guest OS
I'm trying to install the driver for my nvidia 7600 video card
in terminal I'm suppose to type:
sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-185.18.14-pkg1.run
so I do and it asks for a password but it wont let me type it!!
i tried it without the 'sudo' part but it still didn't work
BTW: I keep getting all sorts of problems when I install Ubuntu in a Virtual Machine (e.g. won't enable visual effects; can't enter pw in terminal; video card driver won't install; games like VDrift & ManiaDrive run at like 1fps). is that because I'm running it in a Virtual Machine on top of Windows Vista?
