Just a little annoyance I found and how to fix.
I'm a bit of a noob, so I hope I'm posting in the right place. >.>
Okay, many times you open up applications and the bottom half can't be seen (usually the part that says "apply" and "ok" and "cancel"). Its been annoying me on many applications, because they are to far down. Here is how I solved this:
1. disable maximus. done by going into administration and system monitor and cancelling the process.
2. Go into preferences and click windows (should be last option). it should have the "to move a window, hold this key". Pick whatever, I kept it as "alt"
3. now just hold that key and move the window!
Also, I'm not sure if you can enable maximus and this may still work, but I disable because in classic mode with compiz on startup the top and bottom menu bars dissapear! :(
So...there we go.....:D

Thanks aperture123

I had that same problem, only on a few windows. Is this a permanent fix? Or do I have to disable Maximus every time I use my netbook ?

Yes, you may have to, I recommend going to startup programs to disable, I personally suggest this if you want to go into "desktop mode" because if you install compiz fusion, maximus will get rid of your top and bottom menus, and problem that caused me to reinstall UNR and accidentally lose my windows system.... boy that was a pain....
