Ubuntu x64 9.04 on m1330 - suspend/hibernate not working

Hi,

I was trying to dualboot m1330 to x64 ubuntu 9.04 and so far everything except suspend and hibernate are working.

While the system does go into suspend/hibernate, the problem happens when it is restored back. In case of suspend, there is no display and in case of hibernate the system freezes.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

on a more useful note, do u have the nvidia graphics or the intel?

I have the intel and mine resumes from hibernate fine, but resuming from suspend boots me back to gdm but only when i have compiz enabled.

It works perfectly when compiz is disabled...
