i just installed a video card in my dimension 2350.it's an old
FX5200 with 256mg ram. it works great for vista and 7rc but
i can't even boot to an ubuntu live cd. it seems the kernel panics
because it finds the nvidia card and it also finds the onboard
845 chipset. in the bios setup there are two settings: onboard
enabled or auto. so evidently unchecking onboard enabled doesn't
disable the onboard video. got any ideas?
