Comcast (WA) FireWire issue

I just set up my Mythbuntu pc now and signed up for schedules direct. I am using a firewire cable to connect to my Comcast Motorola DCT6200 and I am the STB recognizes the connection and so does mythbuntu, but under the connect source to input menu it won't fetch channels form listing source so I can't select from the starting channel drop down.

I figured it out looks like it is working. Not sure what I changed I was messing around with stuff and now it seems to work. If anyone else is having the same issues, with the same setup I could go and list my settings to see if it helps.
