I have a genuine Diablo 2 game but the cd is so scratched after letting my friend borrow it I can't read it anymore. So I went ahead and downloaded the torrent. http://*******.com/torrent_details/91635105/diablo?tab=summary
I mounted it with Archive Mounter. When I try to open up the installer, nothing happens. So I tried extracting the files but it said I needed the CD. I mounted the .iso and ran the extracted file and it still told me I needed a CD. I then tried to install it on my Virtual Machine. I installed fine but it just doesn't start. When I run Diablo II it just gives me the sand clock.
I'm running Jaunty 9.04 which I heard has issues with Diablo II
