Hey all,
BackTrack 4 is now based on Ubuntu, so I thought this would be an appropriate place to ask about this. I've been having lots of trouble getting my wireless going, specifically getting it to connect to websites.
I am able to get a "connection" to the network, as wicd tells me, however I can't actually access any websites. I've tried both static and DHCP IP addressing, as well as using global DNS. Nothing seems to work.
I'm not exactly sure what information will be helpful in diagnosing the problem, but here are some of the console outputs, so you can see the hardware and the errors:
