Hey, I'm a brand new ubuntu user I got it a week ago and I'm lost

Alright I've been wanting to play some WOW I had both the regular game and burning crusades on and couldn't get it to work then i checked the fourms now i have wine installed but when i tryed starting the game I got a black screen but the sound was working the only way I got out was restarting. I looked on the fourms again and learned about opengl I tryed the commaned in terminnal and said program could not be found. I've also tried adding the opengl video enhancers but non of them are compadable with my graphics which by the way is a "intel G31 chipset with integrated graphics media accelerator 3100 video" thats what it says on the box the processor is an intel celeron processor 440, i have 1024MB DDR2 RAM. my software is Ubuntu 8.04 Linux OS. So please help I'm lost. and if its at all possible i would like to fix this with out using commands because i have no idea what they do and how to work them
Thanks,
Bryon

P.S. If you know how to get counter strike, Cabal, and the aeria games to work that would also be helpful

POL is just a frontend for WINE. It shouldn't ever have to be a requirement on a properly configured system.
