hey guys I'm a bit of a linux n00b & I've built an ubuntu file/ssh/x11 server and it works great for what I need. I've installed webmin & it has has a bit on IDE Parameters where you can choose a standby timeout period for the harddrives, so that they will be put into standby when not used for long periods of time.
Unfortunately the webmin IDE Parameters do not seem to be getting applied so I wondered if anyone knows how I can get it to work or if I can manually the set standby timeout period for the harddrives without webmin?
PS I've just found out I shouldn't have installed webmin on a debian based system (I should have installed ebox or something instead but it does everything I need!) This is probably why IDE Parameters are not getting applied.........
