This forums search function doesn't work

I typed my login name into the search box (upper right, underneath where it says launchpad.net) and it couldn't find any of my posts.

I assume it's something I'm doing wrong, but what?

The search function on the site is not the best, most users search within the site using google.

As for what you are looking for, if you click on User CP ==> Your Profile then Statistics you can get the sort of info you are after.

Search (near the top of the page, in the horizontal menu) -> Advanced search

Put your user name in the "search for users" box on the left
Go with "find all posts by user" (default) => search away.

If you are searching for a specific topic, go with google.
If you are searching for a specific topic by a specific member, use the forums .
