Ubuntu PPC on iMac G4

I want to install Ubuntu PPC on my old iMac G4 that I use as a server (hoping it will run faster).

Is there a setting to have it startup after a power failure? I know in OSX, it's an option in the preferences. On a i386 PC it's in the BIOS. Where is it on a PPC with Linux?
