Hi,

I'm quite new to Linux and I've stumbled upon a problem I've been unable to figure out.

For some reason I can't run ZBrush when I'm using openbox only, I'm getting a message saying "Unable To Open File - H:\\ZResources\Images\OpenFileZLogo2". When I click OK i get about ten more of those messages before it crashes.

But the curious thing is that it works perfectly if I start it when I'm in Gnome.

I'm thinking it might be because some openbox doesn't start something that gnome does. But if that's the case I have no idea on how to figure out what that is.

Cheers

I don't think so....coz gnome,openbox,kde are desktop environments.....the program is run under any environments...with x...

anyway is Zbrush is work perfectly under wine ? ....sounds good....what about it's performance...........

i am running maya (native not wine-d)

Well it seems pretty stable and with good performance, but it's irritating that I can't get it to start up in openbox.

I just discovered that if I launch "nautilus --no-desktop" and then start Zbrush using the desktop icon it starts as planned except for a Wintab error but that doesn't seem to cause anyproblem. But for some reason if I try to start zbrush using the the wine command in a normal terminal in openbox it won't start.
