Microphone Issues

Hi all

I am using Wine quite happily to run TF2 and am very very happy with the performance, that said I get no mic output at all through Wine.

My mic works perfectly fine outside of Wine, and in-fact I regularly run Skype when playing TF2 so I can chat to my friend who is usually on the server with me.

I was having a look around and noticed that I don't have a wave in setting under my Alsa section within Wine (I do under OSS, but this gives me no sound at all unfortunately).

Would anyone have any ideas how to get the Wine ALSA section to make use of my onboard sound mic?

I have the same issue with CS 1.6 , and another thing is that i shoot with a gun, and the sounds arrive later.

Not a lot later but i can feel it. xd

Just bumping - Interestingly, I installed wine on my girlfriends laptop and the Wave In device exists under ALSA straight away

Solved it by purging Wine and re-installing.
