Does anyone know of a remote file manager that can be run through a web browser?

For those using a hosting ISP - I am thinking something similar to the filemanager included in cpanel. But cpanel is closed source and I'm wanting something opensource that I can install on my own machine.

I'd like to be able to view and possibly edit files on my Ubuntu server (always on - with dynamic dns), by using a web browser on both linux and windows laptops. If it can provide thumbnails of image files then that would be very useful as well.

Thanks
Stewart

Webmin, Ajaxplorer (some versions work), Opendocman, Owl, Proftpd with Firefox FTP plugin.

I would suggest Opendocman, it is stable. Webmin also works, but it is a bit clunky.

Great thanks for the suggestions.

AjaXplorer is just the sort of thing I was looking for.
