I would like to know how long it takes approximately for a howto to be approved by the staff. It probably varies, depending on the amount of request. I would like to have an indication though.

What happens when a howto is refused? Will it be posted in a different section. Would it still be possible for the creator to read his post, so he could post it in a different location and possibly add additional information.

Estimated approval time is roughly 24 - 72 hours and in certain cases 1 - 2 weeks depending on volume. Note: This wait time does not include the day it was posted.

Should a tutorial be refused, the writer is notified with a reason including any information that needs addressing.

Thanks for the information. I tried to search for it, but I could not find it. Could you maybe tell where I could have found it? Just to satisfy my curiosity.

The time frame reflects what I have seen with regards to how-to approval times, and is not concrete. So it will probably not be included in any staff post.

The main criteria for approvals is listed in the below post.

I've found those. Thanks anyway. At least I'm happy that it wasn't something I could have found with a simple search.
