Desktop Icons Wanted..

hi does anyone know where I can find these icons for my desktop:

MSN (for amsn)
Itunes (for GTKpod, just so friends dont get confused)

Well, they are both copyrighted images so they are not commonly available for use - as this would be copyright infringement (used on programs that are not MSN/itunes).

You could using an icon extracter on windows to get .ico files though.

You should try www.deviantart.com / gnome-look.org / or use any kind of png to make an icon ( yes icons in linux suports svg, png and many others )

Well not sure if i have you right here if no sorry

but if you goto say Applications & drag say amsn to
the Desktop you can just right click & rename the items
i hope this is what you where asking here.

I think, as has been established earlier in the thread, that the user wants the icons used by the specific applications (itunes etc...) so as to reduce the confusion for the user of the machine.

On another note, have you look at google image search?

Some Windows icons, including MSN, can be found here (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=29551). I'm not sure about iTunes, but there's a nice Winamp icon.
