Is there anyway to launch different apps with wine, in different resolutions? I hate playing fullscreen games, and some games can not change the resolution of X11 for some reason. Right now im using wincfg to change the global resolution of an emulated desktop.

Is there any wine argument i can use to launch each game into an emualted desktop with an individual resolution? IE. Starcraft in 640x480 and Diablo II in 800x600?

Much obliged

Have you ran winecfg? There should be a tab about resolutions so you can run them at different settings

Thank you for the reply but there is no resolution tab. There is however an application tab and you can change all settings for each applications and not just global settings. Although now, i kind of want Starcraft to run at fullscreen, because i can not alt tab or anything. Once i launch it im stuck in it. The only way around that application is to alt+ctrl+f# to switch to a terminal, which is usefull incase wine freezes or crashes and i have to "winserver -k"

Starcraft gives me errors about not being able to change resolutions, any way to fix this? it works in Cedega, but thats a 14 day trial.
