View Full Version : [ubuntu] I broke my icons! Help Please

Hello,

In trying to get some downloaded icon packages to work, I deleted the "default" folder from usr/sared/icons. It could not be recovered from the trash, so now my icons are all messed up.

Here is the screen shot:

Did you have to have super user privileges (sudo) to do that?

Hi

Yes, I used sudo to do it, and I tried accessing the trash with these privileges and still no luck restoring what I had deleted.

Let's hope apt might fix that. Try searching for default icons or something in Synaptic and reinstall things that look like icon themes.
