Hey boys.
Time for me to post something completely off-topic. I've just watched "Requiem for a Dream" and I love that theme song, have heard it numerous times before, however in a newer version with more vibes and tunes. Does anyone know what the new version is called?
If you can't think of the song, the only hint I can really give you is that it sounds like it could be from World of Warcraft... it sounds ...heroic. Oh yeah and most of it is violin music.

I think it's something like "Lux Aeternia", performed by the Kronos Quartet. A chap called "Clint Mansell" also has something to do with it :)

I don't know whos song it is, but yeah it's great! I think one great use of it was in the Two Towers movie trailer.

I haven't seen the movie, but I loved the music which they put in the trailer. Lux Aeterna, one of the best pieces of music I have heard in days.

The film is great I think I have seen it about 5 or 6 times now, only twice on my own but have made others watch it because im a big fan of the director. The thing that annoyed me is most people I have spoken to about it or the reviews about it seemed to get lost in the faulse notion its an anti-drug film as opposed to his true attempt of trying to recreate a modern version of mice and men the whole drugs thing simply gives him a chance to give them a crappy life, build them up then punish them for going for their dreams. I think its that which makes the music so powerfull it has this great sense of pain and realy well chosen for such a powerfull film.
