installed it and patched with ECE and patch 3369.2
ran it, mouse works in menu and i can start a game but no keyboard/mouse actions let me "fire to start" ? i have to go ut console and type quit to get back to desktop.
wtf?

I ran into this problem as well........I never found a work around and ended up having to reinstall it.........:( After that it worked fine and runs better in Linux that Windoze LOL

I also had this problem once. But a new installation is not needed. Just delete your ~/.ut2440 folder to start again with the default settings.
