I dońt know why all my posts/threads under the same topic are shown as each individual posts/threads when I view my forum. Is that normal? Is it not better to have all posts/threads on the same topic listed under one topic in the forum? Can someone please explain.

I'm not at all sure what you mean there.
You can start a new thread by clicking the "New Thread" button at the top left of a forum page like the "Absolute Beginners" forum.
You reply to posts by clicking the little brown buttons bottom-right of an individual posting, and then the reply becomes part of that thread.
Maybe I don't understand what you mean by "topic". Can you explain?

As with The Cog, I also feel unsure what you are asking.
Perhaps do this:
Click on User CP (http://ubuntuforums.org/usercp.php) (near the top of the screen on the left).
Click on Edit Options (http://ubuntuforums.org/profile.php?do=editoptions) (in the left-hand menu).
Scroll down to Thread Display Options.
Set the following:
Thread Display Mode: Linear - Oldest First
Number of Posts to Show Per Page: Use Forum Default
Default Thread Age Cut Off: Use Forum Default
Scroll further down and select Save Changes.
If that doesn't help, then I've misunderstood your question.

The settings in the User CP are all the same as you mention.
I should have use the word Title instead of Topic.
Why all the Posts/Threads under the same Title are not shown under just the one and the same Title. Instead they are shown in each separate columns when viewing all my Posts/Threads.
Hope you can get what I am trying to say.

Ah, I think I understand. Correct me if I have it wrong:
You went to Search -> Find All Your Posts.
You would like those results to show sorted by title (thread).
I believe that these posts show sorted by date and time, most recent first.
I have are two solutions.
Instead of Find All Your Posts, use Find All Your Threads. This will show your threads, and you can 'drill down' into them. Or...
Go to Search -> Advanced Search.
Keywords: Leave blank (or fill in something if you know what you're looking for).
User Name: wstay.
Find Posts by User.
Tick "Exact name".
Sort Results by: Title, in Ascending Order.
Show Results as: Beans.
Search Now.

No, I am not using the Search......Go option.
I am using the Search drop-down list and when I click on Find All Your Posts, it shows me all my posts but each post with the same title is shown as a post on its own as a section on the forum page and if I have five posts with the same title then there will be five sections. Imagine if I have 10 or 20 or more posts with the same title, then that would fill up a lot of space and it becomes a long page to look at. Why not have a Tilte with all the posts under the same Title as a drop down list?
Then I just have to look at the Tiles for all the posts under whichever Titles they belong.
I think my forum page was like this before. I cannot remember exactly.
May be now there is something wrong with my system.

Hi,
Nothing is wrong with your system - Find all your posts does exactly that, find each post you've ever submitted. When you click on a title link in the returned list it displays that thread, with all posts in time order.
Been that way for the 2 and a half years I've been here ;)

So is there a link to find all my Titles just to list all the Titles I have posted. Is it not better to have a forum page where it list all our Titles posted and clicking on a Title shows all the posts for that particular Title?

Yes, go to Search > Find All Your Threads.

That depends on how you search and how you organise your mind. For me, the current way is the preferred way.

[QUOTE=Paddy Landau;7657431]Yes, go to Search > Find All Your Threads.
Thanks, this is what I am looking for.
I got confuse somehow because some forums use title, topic, post, subject, thread and then these are mix around.
