So I recently came into possession of an Apple Macbook and naturally the first thing I wanted to do was give Linux a go one it. Here is my question... I cannot figure out how to get it to boot from the LiveCD I have in the disc drive. Different places on Google said to press either "c" or "cmd+shift+del" I tried both of these as the system was turning on with no luck :( How can I make the Apple boot from CD? This is an Intel based Mac (OSX 10.4).

Thanks,
~Jeff

you can also hold alt/option during startup to get a boot selection menu.
