I am running the lastest Ubuntu release on a Dell Inspirion Mini 9. Skype has installed successfully (as far as I can tell) and when I launch the app I get no error messages.
However, if I try to connect to Echo/Sound test, there is a 10-30 sec delay then, I get a pop-up with 'connecting', then 'ringing' (no sound)for about 60 secs before I get 'Call Dropped' or 'Cannot Connect'. I have tried this from both wireless and wired connections in different locations.
I use Skype with my Windows PC and it works perfectly.
I have tried reinstalling Skype on my Ubuntu machine and I do get a green tick which suggests I am connecting with the Skype mothership.
Any thoughts?
