I changed my screen resolution and now I can't se the bottom of my screen to access the preferences menu to change it back. What a dumb noob I am. I searched as I figured I can't be the only person dumb enough to do this but none of the fixes posted for the few other people seem to work.

Is there keystroke access to the preferences menu?

push f2 on the keyboard
write: gnome-display-properties and hit enter
adjust the display
enjoy or post the result if it doesn't work
look after yourself

That's got it. Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm still laughing at the noobness of my mistake.

That's a neat trick!
Thanks, barisurum, I'm writing that one down for future use.

While you're writing things down, Alt-A is the same as pressing the Apply button, and Alt-C is the same as pressing the Close button. In case the resolution's so low that you can no longer see the bottom of the Display Preferences window.
