View Full Version : [ubuntu] System monitor and free gives different memory usage.

Monitor reports that I'm using 739MiB and free gives 1.72GB . Where this difference comes from?

Do the system monitor and the -/+ buffers/cache used agree - they do here.

Yes, they agree. So the answer is "man free" :)
