So, I downloaded Wine 0.9.5, and got Steam to work on it. When ever I try to play any Steam game, CS 1.6, HL:DM, CS:S, any of those, I can join a server, get to the part where I'm about to play, then it just freezes. I also can't change the settings in CS:S, everything is on low, and with a 7800GTX, I know it can handle more then low settings and 800x600. Any help?

This is a known issue due to an upgrade in the latest steam code that broke something in wine. There is a bug track listed here -> http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4131

Thanks, I guess when I get my Ubuntu CDs I'll do a reinstall, cause I pretty much messed this install up, in Synaptic , there are no packages, and when I try to install any kind of package, it complains that
