How can I delete myself from this forum? Ubuntu is a waste of time; I shall have to learn how to install and compile source code under Mac OS (The only incentive for a Mac user to use Ubuntu is the free software anyway; the operating system itself is neither powerful nor stable enough to replace the Mac OS). And your forum is a maze - I cannot find anything, not even a delete button to remove myself. And I am quite sure that I entered the correct password just before, but it was not accepted. So until Ubuntu gets a LOT more user-friendly than it is right now, this is it for me. So long!

Edit bodhi.zazen - the above link is not safe for work and may be offensive to OSX and windows users (as well as Linux users, lol)

If you can't find your way around a forum how the hell are you going to compile your software?

The picture is largely true though

If you're having to constantly compile in ubuntu chances are you're doing something wrong. Password errors are nearly always the user's fault anyway

But I digress, if you'd like to delete yourself post in the Forum Feedback forum requesting such an action. Users cannot delete themselves. Good luck on mac os

Well, you can always contact the staffs using the link at the bottom of the screen.
(The URI is http://ubuntuforums.org/sendmessage.php in case you cannot find it)

You need to make a post in the resolution center (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=123) where an admin can then look into it and deactivate the account for you.

My apologies, I misinterpreted that first sentence. I don't know what filesystem mac uses nor do I care but if ubuntu doesn't do what you want then there is no point in using it

I have closed the OP account and personal information was removed.

I moved the off topic posts to jail.

Good luck with OSX, Ubuntu certainly is not for everyone. come on back when (and if) you are ready.

@everyone else: please be respectful of other choices, no need to be insulting when people do not like Ubuntu, sometimes the best we can do is help them go back to their preferred OS. Please, let them depart on a positive note and not with personal attacks or judgment on their choices.
