So, here's the problem. I put about 2MB worth of stuff in my Ubuntu One folder, and it took forever to upload. In fact, 24hrs later, it's still uploading, when I uploaded the same content to DropBox just an hour ago, in under five minutes.

The files appear on the Ubuntu One website, but they're all 0 bytes, despite the 24hrs of loading time, and when I put in the 'u1sdtool --current-transfers' command in the terminal, it tells me that there are zero files being up/downloaded. But the little ubuntu wheel keeps spinning away.

Any suggestions?

Your user info says you're running 8.10. I believe that Ubuntu One requires you to be running 9.04.

No, I'm running 9.04... I just forgot to update (my computer has been in and out of the shop for the last two months).

Are you allowing Ubuntu One to stay connected, so that it can update the files?

I disconnected it, because it "uploaded" for two days straight without uploading a single byte--and as I don't have anything uploaded, there's nothing to update. I connect it once a day, and after about twenty minutes my internet is slower than molasses and nothing's uploaded.

Don't forget this capability is still in development and will be release with 9.10. Ubuntu One's current availability is more for testing and to collect constructive user input. It mignt be better termed as an alpha.
