How to add a ubuntu virtual machine to a windows domain

Hi folks,

I just setup a Ubuntu 9.0.4 on a computer running XP SP3 PRO with VMware workstation 6.5. when i set it up i used NAT option for connecting to the network. Now I wanted to see if I can add the virtual machine to the windows domain. can this be done? does it need to be bridged instead of NATing? let me know!
