Gazelle Ultra 8-cell

Does anybody here have the gazelle with the 8-cell battery, is the life considerably (read: $130) better? And if so, is it worth going for the gazelle with the big battery over the pangolin?

I'm not really sure how much I'll be out and about with my laptop so I'm trying to account for either a situation where it sits at home most of the time, or I will be carrying it with me. Thanks for any help.

It basically doubles your battery life. It gets about 4 hrs.

this is really a mobility vs. screen size/resolution trade off

with the pangolin+screen upgrade you get something extra special for picture viewing, multitasking(put two windows side by side works well), and HD content (downloadable content being the best in my experience, using something like Miro)

Remember, No bluray, VGA is just as good as HDMI particularly when your talking linux (though i sure those who have bought marketing hype will disagree) and +720p content is hard to come by

With the gazelle or darter+ upgraded battery addition you get mobility missing from the pangolin (remember with upgrade there with be 2 batteries totalling give or take 6 hours of cord free time.)

for me the pangolin is very mobile in terms of size and weight but is missing the desired battery life to be considered very mobile in whole
