MSN message only with Internet Explorer?

Well, not that it is a big deal, but I noticed that sending MSN messages to users only works with MS Internet Explorer. I thought that was a bit strange on the Ubuntulinux forums;). Any chance it will work with Firefox as well?

I think it's been discussed before (long time ago though) and it's a part of the vBulletin software and someone would have to change the code in it. Or maybe it's just a setting the admins can change. I guess it's useless to us who use Firefox, but fine for those in Windows and using IE (they should be using FF anyway :P) and thinking of trying Ubuntu.

As far as I know this is nor ubuntu and its browers or the forum softwares fault. The command is a specifc command to Internet explorer (since MSN is technicaly a component of IE). Hence why it wont work in fire fox its not a standard command. To add that functionality to firefox could prompt a lawsuit since you would have to implement something they do not something thats from the HTML standard.
