can't record using program guide or using the record button on remote

Ever since upgrading my mythbuntu box to jaunty i can no longer record a tv show using the program guide or the record button on the remote.Any ideas?

also if i use mythweb to try and setup the recording i get this program is set to never record. If i try forget old rule it still is set to never record
