Hey Guys,

We've decided on our next event, which will be AssaultCube, a realistic FPS based on the Cube Engine.

The event will run from 18:00 GMT Sunday 19th to 04:00 GMT Monday 20th, and we will also have some Heroes of Newerth BETA keys up for grabs for some lucky winners.

The server information will be posted at http://ugn.gwos.org closer to the time.

Join #ugn on irc.freenode.net to get to know some of us before the event.

We've decided on our next event, which will be AssaultCube, a realistic FPS based on the Cube Engine.
I've played AssaultCube since day one, so don't get me wrong, but that's misleading. The environment is realistic, instead of the typical fantasy or futuristic Quake-like game, but it's still very unrealistic gameplay-wise. Nobody should even expect Counter-Strike's small amount of realism from this game, or they will be disappointed.

1.0.4 is the latest version, but it's only available as a patch. Get it from this forum topic (http://assault.cubers.net/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=2203).
