The number one thing missing from the Ubuntu Community is a good single place to get news about Ubuntu.

I think the first forum you should see at the top is Ubuntu News and it should be like News Vac on News Forge with a a short paragraph about whats out there and a link to it.

It should not be an open forum to new posts with those coming from a few "News Admins". The remainder of the thread can be used for comments on the Article.

you have loads of news every were, clicking on ubuntu planet will give you a good idea of whats going on, and you have the Fridge also, loads of info.
