Upgrade Virtualbox

I just got notification that VB has upgraded from 3.0 to 3.0.2. I downloaded the .deb file.

Now, do I need to uninstall VB 3.0 before installing 3.0.2 or will synaptic handle the change?

(Sorry about this, I'm used to using YaST from openSUSE for the past five years and am a newbie on Ubuntu.)

You don't need to remove 3.0, just install the deb

Turns out, when I tried ot use the .deb file to install, I had the newer version already listed in one of my software sources. I just went ahead and used Synaptic.
