All my friends I goto school with that are on my forum play a game called Atlantica Online and I feel left out. One even said they'll go on my forums more if I go on the game. But I refuse to run Windows unless it's in a VM.

I have Virtual Box 3.0 can I play this game?

I tried once but I was using Server 2003 and not XP (I just had the ISO handy) so could installing XP work, or are 2003 and XP very similar in that sense?

I have had moderate success with gaming on vbox3. The thing to remember is that it will not use your nvidia/ati drivers - vbox uses it's own virtual graphics card that is limited to 128mb ram.

I couldn't say how your game would respond. That said, the website suggests that it is a free game - It certainly can't hurt to try it. Also, maybe you can get it going through Wine - The last time anyone posted results at WineHQ was April last year, so that has to be worth a shot too.

I have an Intel Graphics card on my laptop. My friend looked it up and it should work.

I have tried Wine, VMWare, and Virtual Box 3 all with no luck.

Last I tried it ran slow and the graphics on the login screen appeared funny.

And yes it's a free game (I think there are things you can buy, which I think paying real money for game money is just stupid!)
