Hi, is their any good tutorials that will help me learn how to professionally make textures for games and websites?
I would like to learn how to create realistic and professional textures for games and websites.

it all depends on the game and the model. most 3d objects are textured by using UVW maps which show the 3d object as a 2nd map to edit.
you can't just generally make textures for games as you need those maps so yeah, I'm working on a game mod for company of heroes and I do some texturing.

If you can't find any good tutorials for texturing in GIMP, try some Photoshop tutorials. For the most part the two programs have access to the same features, albeit with different names. If you're comfortable though with GIMP's ins and outs, you should be able to adapt.
