Hi,

I'm pretty new to this, so don't be angry with me. I use Xubuntu and I want to listen to MP3-files. I've already installed xubuntu-restricted-extras package but it won't help. Listen to Music recognizes MP3s but won't play them. I know about https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats but it won't help since there's only the hint about xubuntu-restricted-extras.

Thanks in advance,

AtEquilibrium

P.S. Hi to the community! ):P

Which player are you using? Try with audacious.

Hi again,

so I installed Audacious and it plays the mp3 (so the equalizer is going up and down) but I do not hear anything.

So long and thanks for all the fish
