Idle timeout?

It happened again: I was editing my post a minute too long. Pressing Submit resulted in a page saying that I wasn't logged in. And the text was gone for good...

So I wonder whether the idle timeout could be longer? An hour, maybe? If it's needed at all?

Yeah i have this too, last two week are a nightmare on the forum. The site is most of the time i'am here not reachable or dead slow.
